for anyone to lead a LEAP workshop or class with the LEAP Notebook.This manual includes detailed suggestions for how to organize a LEAP group, how to lead LEAP, the LEAP material, how and why to help participants develop a Practice Task to use in exploring their LifeCourse Patterns, and chapters on each of the Patterns with explicit ways to help groups members explore their Patterns. The LEAP Leader Manual was created especially for people who completed the LEAP program themselves, and wanted to share it with others by leading a LEAP group or workshop themselves. Some were people who took LEAP for personal development, or as preparation for counseling. Others were professionals such as teachers, nurses, and/or clergy who either took a LEAP workshop, or were involved in consultations or supervision of their counseling with me, using the LEAP approach. In the case of clergy, this has involved their use of LEAP in pre-marital preparation classes, marital counseling, as well as marital enrichment weekends or workshops, as well as in their pastoral work including pastoral counseling.
