Bibliography -- The first resource is a

The LEAP Notebook -- 300 8.5" x 11" pages in a large loose-leaf
binder. Includes all the material needed by individuals or couples to complete the
LifeCourse Effective Action Program. Includes introductory/preparatory material, sections
on the ten LifeCourse Patterns, a section on the MAP (or "Master Action
Pattern"), and sections on Dr. Alfred Adler and on Adlerian concepts.
Seeking Significance: The Psychology
of Dr. Alfred Adler -- 156 pages, 8.5" x 5.5",
plastic-comb bound. A text on Dr. Alfred Adler's life, ideas, and relevance for 21st
century life. Used in undergraduate and graduate psychology programs various places in the
US and Canada, and plain enough for any reader to understand and use in daily living.
Adlerian Psychology for Clergy
-- 142 pages, 8.5" x 5.5", plastic-comb bound. A detailed manual for clergy to
use Adlerian ideas and methods in their pastoral counseling, as well as an introduction to
the main points of the LifeCourse Effective Action Program (LEAP).
LEAP for Couples
-- 44 pages, 8.5" x 5.5", plastic-comb bound. For couples using LEAP for
counseling, pre-marital preparation, or marital enrichment, in conjunction with the
LifeCourse Effective Action Program, and requires a copy of the LEAP Notebook for each
partner.
The LEAP Leader Manual
-- 80 pages, 8.5" x 5.5", plastic-comb bound. Provides a way for anyone to lead
a LEAP workshop or class with the LEAP Notebook. Includes detailed suggestions for how to
organize a LEAP group, how to lead LEAP, the LEAP material, how and why to help
participants develop a Practice Task to use in exploring their LifeCourse Patterns, and
chapters on each of the Patterns with explicit ways to help groups members explore their
Patterns.
Changing Course: New Directions for
the Journey of Life -- 160 pages, 8.5" x 11". My first
book on Adlerian Psychology, using the metaphor of the "journey of life." Three
parts plus three appendices. More than a hundred specific, practical ways to explore,
examine, analyze, and change one's course on life's journey.
LEAP Leader Resources
-- (1) A 32-page 5.5" x 8.5" introduction to Adler, major and other ideas, and
therapy, for use when speaking to groups, classes. (2) A set of two brochures to provide
practice to help understand each of the ten LifeCourse Patterns in LEAP, The Introductory
Seminar Brochure which briefly outlines each of the 10 LifeCourse Patterns to "follow
along" as the seminar leader describes each Pattern. And (3) A 4-page Practice
Pattern to help people considering LEAP to see how the process works.
LifeCourse Newsletter -- This is a
one-page sample of our monthly email newsletter about Dr. Alfred Adler, Adlerian
psychology, Adlerian therapy, other theories and therapies, LifeCourse resources, LEAP,
our web site, the LifeCourse Institute, NASAP, etc. You may receive it, free, by email,
